Tap at Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Rhubarb, spices, harshness, tartness, pepper, some distant hints of sourness and malts. Not a beer for me.

Smell of mango, some citrus. Hazy dark amber colour, creamy white head. Aroma of spruce, grass, hops. Finish is somewhat fruity. Medium bitter, finishes sweet. Soft carbon, smooth texture. I guess ’mellow’ describes its character.

Tap @CCC. Smell of caramel malt, berries. Cola colour, creamy brown head. Blackcurrant flavour hits first, followed by roasted malt and grain, some tar in finish. Flat, soft carbon, soft texture. Medium sour, mildly sweet. Slightly watery. Blackcurrant fits in quite well. Considerably better than the basic Brown Ale.

Smell of caramel malt. Dark brown colour, very high brown head. Aroma of malt, some sour fruit, some grassy notes. Some sugar/caramel notes in finish. Mildly sour, finish is medium sweet. Lively carbon. Light body.

Smell of sour fruit, straw, grapefruit. Cloudy lemon colour, white head. Arola of yeast, rhubarb, some straw. The first impression is Berliner Weisse, finish is more Saison-like. Lively, short carbon. Dry palate.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. Colour is cloudy murky orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Yeast, wheat, some fruits and malts. Yeasty mess. Quite horrible.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Oulu. Colour is clear dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Tartness, some chocolate, citrus, some nuts and malts. Pretty hard to drink. Tart and watery.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Oulu. Colour is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavous: Some fruits, citrus, lemon, some tartness, herbs, hops and malts. Pretty weird but rather fresh and drinkable.

Rerate, bottle from brewery. Pretty much same looks, big white head. Mosaic showing much more this time, mild funk, grapefruity notes and floral. Bitter finish. Refreshing and good drinkability. Up couple of points. 737314
33cl bottle from Alko Arkadia. Poured deep golden color with a thin white head. Some funky notes, fermented fruits in aroma. Flavor has lemon, gooseberries, perfume hops. Unbalanced. Not sure what to think of this. 636313

Bottled (from Alko Prisma, Vaasa). Deep ambery brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is tart wood, some slight nutty notes along with some toasted and mild floral notes. Flavour is sourish wood, some nutty and toasted notes along with some mild bitterness. Something has slightly gone wrong in this one with the sourness in it.
