Description
Bock’s Corner Brewery is a small independent brewery situated in the heart of a once booming brewing district. After nearly thirty years of silence, we brewed the first batch in February 2015 in a refurbished ice cellar that has now become our home.
Our beers are produced in small quantities and we personally check that every batch is up to the high standard we have set for ourselves- only the best is good enough!
We have also opened Bock’s pub in connection to the brewery where people are welcome to socialize and enjoy a tasty meal while watching the brewmaster at work.

Bottled. Reddish amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is bready malts, some floral and grassy notes with a mild toasted edge to it. Flavour is crisp maltiness along with some floral and grassy hops to it. Refreshing and pleasant when in shape. (The Hockey arena in Vaasa just had some really sour and nasty version of this, which probably hadn’t been stored right, afaik that batch has been pulled off market).

Draught @lakeuden panimojuhlat, Seinäjoki. Unclear golden, thin white head. Asparagus, grassy aroma. Flavor has asparagus, some grass, buttery notes. Still suffering from the same vegetable notes as the others tasted this evening.

Draught@Bock’s, Vasa during the Oktoberfestivity day (and approx 10 Maß Krugs of it). Deep amber colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is bready, some earthy and grainy notes along with some mild wooden and grassy notes. Flavour is very similar, but also has a nice sweet malty crispiness to it. Very easy to drink and a nice palate as well. Too bad this one is just a seasonal...

Draught@Bock’s, Vaasa (very fresh, connected and released while I had lunch). Nice amber/pale copper colour with a mediumsized beige head to it. Aroma is quite fresh bready and mild caramel malty notes with also a nice floral and herbal tone to it. Flavour is very easy going sweet and bready maltiness, with some mild tones of rye as well as some floral and mildly wooden and resiny notes. An easy to drink Bock, which is a bit on the lighter side as for the palate. Still a very tasty brew, which sure will be a nice addition to meaty meals.
