Bottle from Vršovická Galerie Piva. Misty golden body with a white head. Veggies mixing with maltiness in the aroma, almost light phenols... erh. Taste... apple on fairly clean maltiness heading into a light bitter finish. Messy, fairly drinkable but still quite sub par in this form. Maybe it was better on tap.

Tap at Pivo na Naplavce. Golden body, white head, classic appearance. Gentle malty aroma with light buttery touches, not entirely clean sadly. Extremely drinkable, velmi pitelné, however you want to put it. Lovely herbal hoppy touches excellently balanced by a slightly sweetish, clan malty body, very much smooth. Ah, shame about the aroma, this would've been a classic otherwise!

Pivo na Naplavce. The first brewery next to the tent for glasses, but their festival beer was only sold on the other side of the fest, next to the other such tent. So I went for this one. :D Hazy amber body, with an off white head. Buttery notes mixing with otherwise fine herbal and malty aromas. Light, creamy taste, touches of diacetyl but less than in the aroma, nice herbal touches keeping things interesting and pleasant. Not bad, but slightly flawed.

Tap at Pivo na Naplavce. Paradoxically least clean of the trio of their pale lagers I tried here (10, 11, 12). I get a variety of off notes, beginning with a solid DMS, continuing with light diacetyl and finishing with a bit of grainy astringency. Otherwise rather full body, moderate carbonation. Still drinkable, not tragic, but still rather average.

Tap at Pivo na Naplavce. A hint of diacetyl, med-light honeyish maltiness providing some body to back up the otherwise low alc beer. Moderate bitterness and soft herbal hoppiness. Quite classic.

Tap at Pivo na Naplavce. Quite the definition of classic Czech pils. Very easy drinking, very tasty, very well balanced. Excellent.
