Pours not that dark, more like light brown ale. some white foam. Aroma has a bit of bread, slight caramel, some D. Taste is caramelly, some light bitterness, maybe a bit of plastic. More bitterness is coming out in the end. Overall, actually not so bad, drinks ok and actually while I sip it longer, it sort of grows on me.

Pours pink, relatively clear, just a bit of white foam. Aroma has some plastic, herbal weed and not really much sweetness. Tree peels. Taste has more of these tree peels, some weird bitterness and dry herbal bitter finish.

Bottle (thanks jinroh). Pours golden. Aroma is apple, diacetyl, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, apple, caramel, malt. Body is on thin side. Finish is mild sweetness and apples. Overall: drinkable.

Bottle (thanks jinroh). Pours copper. Aroma is diacetyl, fruits, sugar, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, spices, malt. Body is surprisingly thin, abv is well covered. Overall: ok.

Tap at Yokohama Beer Fest. Boozy and sweet nose of grapes. Astringent flavor coming from malt extract plus grapes. Bitter and rough. Pretty nasty stuff. Too strong, too sugary, too messy. Nose alone is ok.

From tap at Beerfes Tokyo. Pours reddish orange, a bit of foam, clear. Aroma has some vinegar, apple juice, strong apple cider. Taste is quite stronga t first, not plastic but somewhat raw. Apple juice is there but in a weird bitter way. Alcohol well hidden. Not bad, going into lambic direction but could be definitely improved on.

Draft at GJBF 2009, Osaka. Has a very lambic-like, horse blanket aroma. Sour grapes. Extremely funky and dusty. That’s very exciting. Funky, sweet, grape flavor. Falls apart in the mouth. Tastes sweet-and-sour dusty, nothing lambic at all in the flavor.

Draft at GJBF 2009, Osaka. Strong apple aroma, tastes like non-alcoholic apple cider from back home. Does not taste fermented. Pleasant, not a great beer—nothing beer-like about it actually; more like a decent cider. Nice enough. Cloudy, medium gold.
