Retro pull top bottle & grenade shaped bottle. Thin off white head on a clear amber coloured body. Malt aroma. Medium bodied, finely carbonated with a cloying back. Malt, sugar, biscuit & treacle tastes with a faint hop finish. I've had worse - but it's not good.

Can with a picture of Tower Bridge on it for some reason. Procured form Lidl bridge of don. It pours clear golden - amber with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, grainy, cheap supermarket own brand biscuits, nutty, cereal, powdered sugar and honey. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, quite grainy, spicy, green veg, boiled cabbage, bitter - sweet character, grass and oatcakes with a drying finish. Average body for the style and moderate prickly carbonation. Pretty so-so. Like the can, foil lid and picture of London bridge but that's about it.

Bottle drunk at my hotel room in Istanbul after accidentally receiving liver skewers at dinner, after accidentally having chosen a restaurant that did not serve alcohol. It was a great restaurant nonetheless as evidenced by not having a guy standing outside harassing, to pull people in. Now, about the beer, brown with tan head and roasty/nutty nose. Flavor is pretty malty, not too complex, but nice for a brown with pleasant mild bitterness. One of the better Frederiks so far.

Bottle drunk after visiting the Grand Bazaar and the Basilica Cistern. Maybe i should have had it before doing those other things. Middling amber, decent head, slightly overripe banana nose with some generic citrus. Flavor is a bit of spoiled banana and C-Hops, not really inspiring but there it is. It's just a decent brew.

Bottle drunk in our hotel room after Turkish dinner. Light yellow amber with mild haze and decent head, sharp citrus nose. Flavor is pretty much C hops with mild maltiness behind it. A bit one dimensional, honestly, but lemon-ly refreshing after a big meal of beef stew on roasted eggplant with cream.

Bottle from a random liquor/wine shop, drunk the hotel. Mostly clear amber, moderate head, nice citrusy nose with hints of caramel sweets. Flavor is pretty full, decent smooth bitterness level. Not too much hops flavor though, seems a bit thrifty for an IPA. But it's pretty tasty for 100TL.
