On tap at The Grapes, Oxford, Tuesday 10th March 2015 Pours mid gold with a white rim of bubbles. As expected this was always going to be a bit wimpy in comparison to the Colossus but actually it is a jolly decent Pale Ale, steady bitterness, perhaps not quite as crisp as I would like but dry, citrussy a good beer. On tap at The Grapes, Oxford, Tuesday 10th March 2015 Superb beer from Beerd, a real step up from this brewery. Great bittersweet balance, with a lingering bitter finish, citrus with a real pithy element, initially sweet but then that finish is really long and drying. Dark gold in colour excellent clarity, sticky white head. I sort of feel sorry for the beer that I will have after this as it will invariably be hugely overshadowed by this beast. This really is a top notch beer from Beerd. A7 A4 T9 P4 Ov17 4.1
