Fles op vakantie gekocht, thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een citrus achtige geur. De smaak is fris, fruitig, moutig en citrus.

(Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 19 Oct 2019) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with bread, grass, citrus and hay. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of bread, grain, grass, citrus and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, dry. Fresh and well balanced. Nice one.

Huge, pitting-in white head, fed by lively carbonated clear golden beer, leaving lace. Pale malts, garden herbs - herbal but not " Herb ". Very dry, very herbal flavour, pretty bitter as well. In the finish, the pale malts returns for some balance, even a bit of chaff. Some hopflavours make me doubt about the Saaz claim, as they seem pretty New World with their fruity esters. Light to medium bodied, creamy feel from the head. Czech? No. But a pretty d*mn good Pilsner? Yes!
