Description
The microbrewery of Magnus Magister is completely identified with the island of Rhodes and its history. Hence its name, Magnus Magister, inspired by the Knights of Rhodes and the Grand Master, their lifelong supreme lord, who ruled the island for 213 years.

Magnus Magister is produced in the ultra-modern factory of “Papadimitriou S.A.”, in the area of Damatria, Rhodes with HACCP and ISO standards, German equipment, German raw materials, German Brewmaster and according to the cleaning standards set by the German legislation.

Bottle. Golden-yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is citrus, malt, wheat, butter. Flavour is wheat, citrus, malt, butter, yeast. Bad beer.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Magnus Magister Weiss ].Unclear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, sweet yeast, fruity, light butter. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet fruit, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20140704]

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 14.10.14. Golden. White head. Sweet aroma of maize, wine gum and flowers. Similar taste, balanced by some bitterness and malt sourness. Slightly waterish mouthfeel.

Mild herber, etwas trockener Antrunk. In Mittelteil bleibt dieser Eindruck bestehen, zusätzlich mild süß-würzig. Herber, wenig hopfiger Ausklang. 8/7/6/7/8/7

Draught at Water Park, Faliraki Rhodes. Clear yellow golden colour, foamy white head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, grainy, grassy & alittle metallic. Taste is malty, sweetish with grain, hay and some grassy bitterness. Light bodied, high carbonation, metallic bitter finish. Standard lager.

50cl Bottle at Belle Epoque, Syros. ABV 4.9%. Hazy golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, candy, some plantain. Flavour is sweet, yeasty, candy, sticky, sweet banana, some metal, bitter finish. Light-bodied. Not very good.

Pours hazy deep golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of butterscotch and even more butterscotch and toffee. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a butter and faint hint of citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft to fizzy.
