Bottle at home, black beer, small head. aroma is malt, roast, fruit, light cherry. Taste is the same, malt, chocolate, roast, cherry, bitter, light sweet. Bitter sweet cherry aftertaste. Very nice

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment' as 'Húflo Stout amarene & nibs & koffie' at 10.5% abv, 2018 vintage. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity and slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, caramel, amarena cherry, licorice and coffee. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty and slightly fruity taste of dark chocolate, caramel, coffee, licorice, almond and amarena cherry, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter, a little alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not completely harmonious and a little rough, but also a nice mix of flavours matching pretty well. Interesting.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of fruity roasted coffee, cherry, chocolate, roasted malt, caramel and raisin. Taste has nice fruity roasted coffee, mildly tart cherry, chocolate, licorice, caramel, little cinnamon, dates, vanilla and raisin. Nice pastry stout, cherry and chocolate is clearly present, but with a firm malty and roasted base. Very nice.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV, ruim over datum maar prima te drinken. Het is een licht troebel, goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat fruitige geur. De smaak is moutig, fris en licht bitter met een wat hoppige afdronk.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een diep rode gloed en een volle beige schuim. Het heeft de geur van kersen en koffie. De smaak is chocolade achtig, kersen likeur en koffie.

Bottle shared at tasting. Dark brown to black color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, quite heavy coffee, lightly sweetish (maybe the amarena?) and some soft roast. Quite good. Nice, I like it. 8-4-8-3-15

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Mr. Hop. Pitch black pour with a small beige head. Sour cherry and coffee aroma with some chocolate as well. Sweet taste with a long lingering medium-bitter taste. I thoroughly enjoyed this amarene stout; It has everything I look for in a stout: roasted malts, complexity, very well concealed alcohol, etc.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before May 2019. Almost clear, straw golden with a medium large, dense, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity-grassy and a bit floral aroma of lemon peel and some fresh grass with a touch of grains. Just a bit sweet, slightly bitter, quite grassy, gently fruity and a bit floral taste of grains, lemon peel and some fresh grass, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite grassy, slightly dry and a little grainy finish. Thin body, smooth but quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Nice aromatic Pils, very quaffable and refreshing.
