Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a tiny brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, wood and alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 040317

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Small head with short duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are wood, roast malt, chocolate, licorice and hops. Full bodied and oily.

@Ulfborg Scooper. Black, small light tan head. Roasted malt and caramel. Caramel, licorice and roasted malt flavour. Woody and slightly boozy.

Bottle @ home. Hazy medium orange color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, hops, tropical fruits. Taste malts, hops, tropical fruit hops, hop bitter, tropical fruit hop bitter. Appears very fresh, yet bottle says bottled on October 9th 2016. Very nice nonetheless. And credits for stating bottle date instead of the useless best before blabla. Very nice, I thoroughly enjoyed this beer.

hazy dark amber colour, huge, approx 2 inches dense bright beige-ish head; aroma of moderate smoked cheese, roasted bread and some dried fruits (maybe plum); taste of (over-)roasted bread, smoked notes, some dried fruits, syrupy sweetness and mild lactic acid notes; correct beer, though I don’t really feel roasted chestnut in it

Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, mildly dry and minerally crisp. Light clean malts, sweetish. Trace of apple. Decent orange peel, mildly bitter. Pine. Light finish. Decent.

Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and finely minerally crisp. Very light malts. Good fresh orange hops with fresh orange peel bitterness. A little apple lets it down but overall it’s crisp and drinkable.

Botella 33 cl del señor lupulo Gijón tomada en Oviedo 01..01..2017. (r08). Lote KHQ hasta noviembre 2020. Color marrón oscuro casi negro con espuma beige Aromas y sabores maltosos algo tostados con toques ligeros de licor de Guindos. Caramelos tostados. Cuerpo medio liquido con buena sensacion alcohólica. Normal.

Hazy deep amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth with decent fine carbonation. Mild minerals. Reasonably creamy sweet malts, slightly thin. Smooth pine into bitterish floralness. Decent citrus - juicy orange, mild tropical fruits and pink grapefruit. Fairly bitter citric peel finish. Quite light and it hangs together well. Nice.
