Il gusto al naso viene attratto dall'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta, di bollicine a grana medio-fine. Il liquido appare opalescente e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è medio e acquoso. L'amaro è poco incisivo. La forza gustativa è normale e la durata è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sul tetto della bocca finiscono note di caramello, miele e cereali.

Il gusto al naso va sul luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la continuità olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una discreta resistenza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto velato e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con carbonazione nella media e velocità di ascesa morbida. Il colore è ambrato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al palato arrivano sentori di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, agrumi e pompelmo.

Dark amber color, dull, with small frothy head. Strong aroma of sweet malt, and PNW hop pellets. Full bodied, it has a strong malt flavor, fairly sweet, and strong bitterness with a resiny and orangey character.
Midway between Imperial IPA and American Barley Wine, the malt character is very strong, but so the hops (think of Cascade with some Simcoe). Good, a bit rough.

Pale blond color, cloudy, with medium sized head. Delicate aroma of citrusy hops, with a touch of crispy malts (6+). The mouthfeel is very dry, there is some wheat flavor, too little to awake the interest (6-), and the hopping is timid, with mild bitterness and a light citrus touch.

Hazy blond color; small but persistent head. The aroma is delicate and fruity, with notes of Moscato grapes, sweet. The mouthfeel is light and dry; it has light notes of perfumy grapes, but no malt flavor nor hop, which is an obvious choice in order not to cover the delicate grape, but at the same time it’s hardly beer anymore.
