Cask handpull at the Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. That’s not a good beer. Just some plastic on the aroma and vague roast in the mouth. Horrid aroma.

Cask, gravity at The White Horse, Hedgerley, 18th ’Coming of Age’ Beer Festival 29-05-10 Pours chestnut in colour with off-white head. This is nutty with good toffee, malts and a little bit of creaminess. Smooth nutty flavours show again, I like this. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, cream caramel, and toffee, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is light.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, sour apples. overripped apples. Flavor is moderate sweet light light acidic and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090805]

Cask@GBBF2009. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is acidic fruits along with some flowery notes. Flavour is wooden, rather sweet malts and also has a bit grassy and bready notes.
