Fat @ Benchwarmers Oceanhamnen. Söt och något bränd, absolut humlig, men med det förstnämnda kvalitéerna i åtanke måste jag säga att det påminner endel om ett välhumlat amerikanskt barley wine.

(Draught at Tritonia/Barrels, Burgers & Beers, Stockholm, 27 Feb 2023) Amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with caramel, toffee, apricots, orange peel and slightly earthy hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of caramel, orange peel, apricots, grapefruit, pine needles and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Bärnstensfärgad med ett tätt skum. Lite knäckig doft med inslag av citrus. Kroppen är ganska lätt. Lätt knäckig smak med inslag av citrus. En liten humlebeska dröjer sig kvar i munnen. Oförarglig.

33cl can from Systembolaget, Gävle. Pours slightly hazy pale golden with a modest, white head. Grainy aroma with light herbal notes and citrus. Moderate sweet with relatively low flavour intensity, but a fairly pleasant bitterness. Fair enough.
