Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Poured into a mug, the appearance was a ruddy red color with a thin white foamy head. Left some stringy and somewhat messy lace.
The aroma had some light toffee and caramel malts playing with some roasty nuts. And then some butterscotch.
The flavor blended all of the previously mentioned flavors together decently and blended into a dry aftertaste and riding into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, nicely done clean Irish red ale worthy of more pours.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a deep dark brown color close to black in color with a finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Left some stringy lace running all around the glass.
The aroma had a deep roasty dark chocolatey nose initially and then opens up with some sweet oats. Just a touch of vanilla at the end.
The flavor leads with the blend of the roast to sweet, seems well balanced. Touches down nicely in the aftertaste and sliding on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, nicely done sweet stout that I would have again.
