Very slightly hazy golden, peach and light amber coloured body, all with a nice four to five centimetre tall tan, microfoamed head that fades relatively slowly. Aroma of flowers, pine, grass, light malts, some soft sugars coming from oranges, citrus fruits and a dash of caster sugar. Medium-bodied; Relatively rich citrusey bite at first that gives a lot of hop bitterness, combined with some grassy, floral and slightly cardboardie malt components that provides a nice sweetness and a layer of dry grassy qualities at the end. Aftertaste is relatively balanced with both - a ton of hops (obviously), showing a wide-range of flavours, but also a lot of malt to support the bitterness and the glue that holds this together is the sweetness from the fruits, which is very nice! Overall, a very nice, almost Imperial IPA that hits the right notes, isn't pungent or cloying at all, but is still very close to a plain East Coast IPA with no gimmicks, just good execution! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in [old town] Alexandria, Virginia on 28-November-2020 for US$3,00, which was canned on 28-October-2020, sampled at my house here in Washington on 30-November-2020.

Poured a clear, golden orange color with a nice, medium sized, white head. Aroma was grapefruit, floral hops. I actually let this one sit out for about 30 minutes when I had to go upstairs and get the napping baby up and the hop bouquet really opened up quite a bit. Super hoppy, crisp, mild grass? Good stuff!

Ever-so-slightly hazy deep copper and bronze coloured body with a light brown glow and tints of ruby as well, all with a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of dry grass, grain, light fruit, some bitter herbal hops with a touch of nuts and sticky toffee at the end. Medium-bodied; Fresh pomegranate, grape and cherry notes are evident at first, with a dry hop profile that shows some specialty grains, more of the toffee and caramelised sugar notes and a hint of floral and grassiness that dries out the palate at the very end. Aftertaste is very crisp and robust with both fresh grassy hops and a lot of fresh pomegranates really coming through at the end and making it bitter throughout. Overall, a surprisingly nice and very well executed beer to get the pomegranate to mix well with all the hops. Great to sample, especially fresh! Worth trying to find, especially if you really like pomegranate fruit or juice! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 19-May-2020 for US$4,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 24-May-2020.
Caramel pour. Thin foam. Orange and caramel nose. Sweet flavor of orange caramel
