6/3/2019. Growler sample, courtesy of Danlo, cheers Ed!. Pours almost black with minimal head. Aroma of bitter dark chocolate, roasted malt, lactose, liquorice, coffee and vanilla with a little dried fruit. Light sweetness, heavy bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, very soft carbonation. Bitter roasted finish. Thought it a bit too bitter to really enjoy this.
