330ml can, 4.4 % abv, bought at Calverley's Taproom. Shared with Finn. Crocheted lacing from a film-type layer, clear golden body. Moderate smell of dusty hops and pale malts. 1/3 pint draught, shared with Finn at Calverley's Taproom. Almost black body with a shade of brown. Inviting aromas of grainy chocolate. Blended malt-driven taste of chocolate and liquorice. Smooth finish of chocolate malts, lightly roasted. Fine bodied, but quite easy to drink. Pleasant porter version. (Cambridge 10.11.2021).

1/3 pint at Calverley's Taproom. Low white head, remaining. Cloudy grey-yellow body, lacing rings down the glass. Fresh hop fruity smell of mango and pineapple. Quite similar taste profile with pineapple up front, backbone of wheat. Rounded bittersweet tail. Refreshing and likable. (Cambridge 10.11.2021).
