Description
Founded in 2013, we are a microbrewery specialising in bottom-fermented beers, more commonly known as lagers.*
For many years, lagers in Britain have been dominated by global brands and industrial production methods. The focus has been on branding, not flavour. We are reinventing British lagers by returning to the traditional methods that originally made it the most popular beer style in the world. We will not compromise flavour and we will not be the official lager of the next major international sporting event.

Keg at Sixty Million Postcards, Bournemouth. Mid-brown with a russet hue, cloudy, small beige head. Soggy malt and balsamic vinegar in the aroma. Taste is sweet with a sourish note, some chocolate, catarrh syrup, horehound notes. Short to medium finish. Weird little beer, not sure if the condition or the actual beer is a bit substandard.

Fra cask på GBBF aug-19: nesten helt klar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. engelsk appelsinmarmelade, grapefrukt, urter og furunål. Golden ale is not my favourite style, but this one is very tasty indeed.

Keg at Rose & Thistle, Frimley Green. As 'Bock'. Hazy light brown. Creamy white head. At first there some low key sweetness before grainy bitterness takes over. Develops some spice as I drink more. A hint if sourness to the latter. Medium bodied. Slick with added creamy mouthfeel. Flat carbonation. Long dry astringent. Was expecting this to be overly sweet but there's very little of that. Not over complicated but could happily sink a fee of these. Although makes me think more of a Vienna Ale than a Bock.
