Cask at the Birmingham CAMRA Beer Festival 2015. Poured a murky dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is yeast, spicy citrus fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet with a soft liqourice sweet fruit palate. It really does taste like the pop of a bygone era tho! Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 4/8/2015. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. Tropical fruits, a touch of tangerine, some pine, green herbs and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Clear pale gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Whisper of sulphur. Light pale malts. Floralness. Modest orange and tangerine citrus. Light dry finish. Passable.

Cask at gbbf 2015 day 4. Weird aroma, slightly chivey, tropical notes, light straw, some ashtray on the nose. Flavour is light, slightly harsh grains, tropical notes, five alive juice drink. Palate is grainy, tannin, lowish carbonation. Bit of a weird one.
