Glasshouse Beer Co
Microbrewery
in Birmingham,
West Midlands,
England 🏴
Associated Venue: Glasshouse Brewery Tap
Established in 2018
Graduating from Josh’s mum’s greenhouse in 2018 (where the brewery gets its name), GlassHouse had a rocky period over the pandemic but managed to push through by producing a great range of cans.
GlassHouse beer isn’t fined or filtered, and while it has been known to produce a milk stout or two, its beers are typically vegan. While they’re available nationally, the team’s glare is firmly fixed on improving and supporting the Birmingham beer scene.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Pours a deep unclear pink, verging on purple, thin off-white head. Vibrant nose conjuring up all sorts of red hedgerow berries. Taste continues with a good fleshy assorted red berry character, pips and all. Nice tart zippy fruit. Good fruit beer.

On tap at Tilt, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, with a touch of earthy coffee. Flavour is somewhat harsh, with lots of roasted malt and earthy coffee. Heavily roasted and boozy, but not bad. It's okay.
