On cask at Monty's Bar. Appearance - golden with a light haze. Proportionate head. Nose - orange and mango. Light citrus pith. Taste - more tropical and citrus fruits. A bit papaya. Only slight resin going on too. Palate - light bodied and creamy. Balanced finish. Overall - lovely ale.

On tap at the Ship Isis, Sunderland with Steve Matthews and Peter Fowler, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, Saturday 2nd February 2019 also in the company of Peters daughter Claire. Pours very dark brown edging towards black, a lovely tart fruitness, the blackberries really work very well in here. Enjoyed this.

[Cask at the White Horse, Hedgerley.] A hazy amber pour with a translucent head; aroma of tropical fruit; sweet tropical fruit taste to start, then some sharply bitter citrus; follwed by a jammy finish. A reminder that there's more to a good IPA than a bucket full of hops.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - cloudy yellow. Proportionate head. Nose - lemon and pineapple. Yeasty. Taste - more lemon plus pith. Palate - light bodied with a rich texture. Dry, lean finish. Overall - ok.

ABV: 4.8%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, coffee - oat, dusty coffee - dusty, mocha. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, coffee, dark malt, dusty, mocha. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181018]

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and heavy coffee. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and roasted moderate bitter finish. 181018

Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, licorice, rich coffee, chocolate and has a nice long coffee finish.
