[Cask at the White Horse, Hedgerley.] A hazy amber pour with a translucent head; aroma of tropical fruit; sweet tropical fruit taste to start, then some sharply bitter citrus; follwed by a jammy finish. A reminder that there's more to a good IPA than a bucket full of hops.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - cloudy yellow. Proportionate head. Nose - lemon and pineapple. Yeasty. Taste - more lemon plus pith. Palate - light bodied with a rich texture. Dry, lean finish. Overall - ok.

ABV: 4.8%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, coffee - oat, dusty coffee - dusty, mocha. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, coffee, dark malt, dusty, mocha. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181018]

Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, licorice, rich coffee, chocolate and has a nice long coffee finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Head of Steam, Leeds 1 October 2018. Dark brown in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Toasty malts, dark fruits, a slight nuttiness, plain chocolate, creamy oats and a dryish finish. Very good.
