Can from Elusive brewery. Sweet vanilla-coffee aroma. Dark and glossy - cola brown in the light. Thick foamy tan head. Initial bitterness is tempered by underlying sweetness. The coffee and liqourice then come through but it's never overly bitter. Medium bodied. A certain creaminess to it. Average-fizzy caronation. Long finish Nice enough if slightly muted.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours clear yellow with a pillowy, pure white head. Excellent lager, with clean biscuity character, moderate sweetness, nips of crunchy pale grains, a hint of grassy bitterness, straw. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish.
