Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours clear yellow with a pillowy, pure white head. Excellent lager, with clean biscuity character, moderate sweetness, nips of crunchy pale grains, a hint of grassy bitterness, straw. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish. Highly drinkable. Impressive lager.

Keg at the Experiment - Hackney. Pours. Clear gold with a tight, creamy white head. Has a nice amount of bitterness, an almost minty soft accent, somewhat dry pale malts, citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Subtle warmth in the finish, some piney bitternesss, crisp pale mats, more citrus rind. Sound.

440ml can. Black with a tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roast malts. Taste is the same, lots of dark chocolate with strong roast malt character, some coffee too perhaps, good bitterness, smooth. Medium-ish body. Classic stout, and a pretty decent one too.

Straw blond with thin head. Aroma and flavour are very soapy and floral. Tastes a bit like sweet Gale. Not for me.
