Cask at the Steam Town Brew Co, Eastleigh, Hampshire. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of malt, hop, citrus, flowers and light grass. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Towards medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. This should be listed as a golden.

On tap at the Old Vine. Beautiful gold colour. Aroma is perfumey with some hops. Flavour is just a big ball of hops with grass, straw and bread notes.

Cask from stillage at the Romsey Beer Emporium. Bright amber with a ring of translucent head; aroma of damp straw and English hops; light, rather than thin, with a gentle pale malt flavour; then some even gentler hops before a dry and biscuity finish. A simple, straightforward bitter, very drinkable, but not one to make you sit up and take notice.
