Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear black with a vague, burgundy hue and a lacing, beige head. Subtle citrusy hops a base of chocolate roast. Medium body, very heavy on the licorice notes with a solid bitterness in the finish. Not a bad exaple of a now rare style. 040221

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, dark fruit, chocolate - coffee, wood, vanilla, light alcohol, light smoke. Initial flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter, finish flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, vanilla, dark fruit, coffee - chocolate, molasses - sugary malt. Can 44 cl. Pours an opaque black with a tiny, light brown head. Has a fun almost fruity roastiness in the nose. Rich and very sweet roast and molasses, sweet licorice and a lowish carbonation. And again this fun fruitiness. May seem a little rough and under attenuated. Malt bitter finish. 161220
