Bottle, 7%. Good fruity aroma, tropical with a little alcohol in the nose. Cloudy golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is quite bitter, followed by a fruity note without much mango. Then more bitterness in the finish. A woody and astringent hop bitterness with some alcohol bitterness. Smells good, but the flavour is one-dimensional.

500ml can. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty, dark malty and slightly zesty, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of coffee, dark chocolate, orange, grapefruit, lemon, orange flavoured dark chocolate, liquorice overtones. Taste is mildly bitter, roasty, dark malty and bitter, slightly zesty, citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of coffee and dark chocolate, lemon, grapefruit, orange, a mineral touch, some liquorice here and there; slightly reduced hoppiness in the finish, earthy coffee flavours come to the fore. Slightly oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, quite intense for relatively low 14 BLG - although I prefer the more earthy, grassy, herbal, mineral BIPAs over the fruity ones I have to say this is a really good BIPA and definitely among the best on the (citrusy) fruity section of he spectrum.

Can. Nearly clear golden, small white head. Mild tropical fruit aroma, a touch of Sabro hops. Fruity, medium bitter flavour, some tropical fruit, and again just a tiny hint of Sabro... Did I mention Sabro yet? Because for a Sabro fan this is kind of disappointing...
