Here at The Twice Brewed we’re lucky enough to be situated in an area that boasts a famous brewing tradition dating back nearly 2,000 years. We’re proud to follow in these footsteps, with our own purpose-built, state of the art eco-brewery.

Inspired by the stunning Hadrian's Wall landscape, the team at the Twice Brewed Brew Co combine a passion for brewing, attention to detail and the very finest ingredients to create a range of ales and lagers to satisfy beer lovers from around the world.

We brew using water from our own well combined with the finest quality hops and malt. All waste water goes through our reed bed filtering system, left over malt from brewing goes to feed the cattle at the local farm, and old hops are used to fertilise the garden.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - cloudy orange. Decent lacing. Nose - orange, apricot and mango. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied, a bit thin, but it is quite light in ABV. Dry and fairly refreshing. Overall - nice.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - green beans, light corn. Taste - corn again, slight caramel. Palate - light bodied, reasonable bitterness, though would expect a little more for the style. Overall - good nose, though the taste is a little sweeter than preferred given the style.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of mango and grapefruit. Taste has done pineapple and passionfruit. Light bitter finish.

Growler thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep amber red. Cream head. Nose - banana and light spice. Subtle cola. Taste - subtle cola, good hefeweizen. Palate - creamy and tangy at the same time. Medium bodied. Overall - good.

Growler at ash's. Pours reddish orange, nose is toffee, woody, caramel, hint of banana, taste is banana, clove, juicy, sweet, hint of cola in the finish.

Growler from the brewery online shop by mail order. Pours clear red brown with a thick white head. Aromas of classic Weiss beer, spice and light banana. Taste has the cola. But it's not overwhelming. Dry finish.

Growler by mail order from the brewery online shop. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of chocolate and cherry, not surprisingly. Taste is heavier on the chocolate, light dark cherry at the back. Soft carbonation, sweet finish.
