Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque, murky. dark brown with a small, rough, off-white head. Complex oxidized nose with plenty of dark, dried fruit, marzipan. Rich, sweet body, hardly any carbonation. Sweey, mushy, overripe fruitiness, warming alcohol. Probably the best beer from Thorning yet. 210322

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with a smallish, off-white head. Fruity, bubblegum aroma. Medium body, again very fruity, bubblegum notes - and then a massive sets in. Always an issue with tea in a beer, to avoid the astringency from the tea leaves. It doesn't relly succeed here. Still quite enjoyable. 210522

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, amber with a smallish, rough, lifeless off-white head. Nose has faint, sweet caramel and an estery edge. Rich, sweet, malty body - almost flat. Caramelly, phenollic with a fusty, mildewy note. Feels old and gone. 210322

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a murky, opaque black with a huge, beige head with good retention - shaving foam style. Very fizzy pour. Roasty aroma with a hint of citrusy hops. Medium body, harsh, burned, ashy roast with a malty bitter finish. 050321

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, deep golden with a tiny, off-white head. Nose actually has some apple notes, slight phenols and yeast. Rich, malty body, again a carbonation on the (very) low side. Fruity, appley and phenollic with a hint of tartness. Drinkable, but only just. 050321

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with an off-white head. The nose is very uninviting: smelly feet, rotten apples - absolutely nothing that makes you wanna try the beer. Medium body, lowish carbonation, slightly sweet caramel with a hint of roastiness and then an odd tartness. Sme late ittering fans. Can't say that I'm a fan.... 050321

Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. MOderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter epoxy flavor. Average finish. Alas lots of epoxy/plastic. Oily palate.
