Lightly hazy orange with a white head. Full of tart tropical citrus notes, floral, sweet fruit, and mild funk. Very tart and lemony throughout. Decent.

Cask @ BC Beer Awards. Cloudy mud and massive head. Nose kicks off tartness, yeastiness...what a whacky beer. Tart, hoppy, floral and leafy. It's everything and nothing in a glass.
Appearance - 2 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 3 | Texture - 2 | Overall - 2.5
Cloudy, light brown...mud and unattractive. The aroma shows sour, some toastiness and not much else. Tart, kinda wonky...yeasty...amateur homebrew taste and where's the hop? Gross...drain pour. Not taking the time to analyze the flaws in this one.

Bottle - Light fruit, perfume and elderflower. Cloudy gold with almost no head. Light soured white grape, touch of elderflower and not much else. A little subtle and it may evolve but right now a bit mild.

750ml bottle at Brian's office. Pours a murky dirty golden with a weak white head. Aroma is very fruity with grape notes. Taste is similar. Quite good.

Hazy, dull straw, with no head. On the nose, the woodruff and grape must show through, along with some yeastiness. Sweet, but also quite floral, the riesling and elderflower both coming through. Fun. Not great on the execution - it's too yeasty for that, and not nearly wild enough - but definitely a fun beer.

The dark roast is well done and pleasant, however the bitterness is far too strong for a saison. This is almost a black ipa. The Brett lends only a very small sourness, and there seems to be no lacto. It's an okay beer, but i think very misbalanced. Bottle from BC. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at 12 Kings, Vancouver
Dark amber color with compact head. Aroma of dark fruit, lightly earthy. Good body strength, dark caramel flavor, mild sweetness, earthy character, a bit of dark chocolate, and some dark fruits; the final is somehow too roasty.
Strong character, possibly a bit uncoordinated, but interesting.
