On tap at the Alibi Room, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma reveals a nice mix of robust roasted malt and fairly subtle toasted coconut. Flavour is similarly robust, with toasted coconut and rich roasted malt. Dry, nutty and roasty on the finish. Good stuff.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is fruity, slightly funky. Similar taste, super juicy and fruity. Slight piney and fruity bitterness. Whoa, this one is surprisingly very good!

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy dull orange with no head. Aroma is odd, revealing notes of banana, light vinous notes, and wild yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of wild yeast and dry Riesling grapes, with a hint of banana. Bone dry, with a near-flat carbonation - could use a more champagne-like mouthfeel. Solid stuff.

Tasting at SF, Vancouver
Dull brown-amber color. Mild aroma, earthy malt. Sourish flavor, feeling of rotten stuff, chaotic blend.
Not very good.

Cloudy blond color. Mild herbal aroma, some fennel, perfume. Strong body, quite some alcohol presence, detergent, some spices, some citrus, and light vinous character. The astringency in the final is not very pleasant.
Messy.

Draught at St. Augustine's, Vancouver
Dark amber-brown-red color. It smells sour, some vinegar, rotten fruit. There are four elements here: dark malts, sourness, Saison yeast and fennel; none of them is overwhelming, yet they are not blending together, clash on the palate, disturbing.
Chaotic beer, disharmonious brewing exercise.

Lightly hazy orange with a white head. Full of tart tropical citrus notes, floral, sweet fruit, and mild funk. Very tart and lemony throughout. Decent.

Cask @ BC Beer Awards. Cloudy mud and massive head. Nose kicks off tartness, yeastiness...what a whacky beer. Tart, hoppy, floral and leafy. It's everything and nothing in a glass.

Cloudy, light brown...mud and unattractive. The aroma shows sour, some toastiness and not much else. Tart, kinda wonky...yeasty...amateur homebrew taste and where's the hop? Gross...drain pour. Not taking the time to analyze the flaws in this one.
