Guava sort of colour, not much head. Tart and fairly alcoholic with mellow acidity and a rather bland guava thing. I don’t get pineapple or a reason to invest my liver in this.

Opaque, pale, thick head. Orangey nose, light lychee, stone fruit and melon. So a good mix of hops and it comes together well with sweet pale malt. Medium bitterness, lots of malt but it’s clean and bright. Some of the best malt expression from Field House I’ve had. There’s a good melon character here, quality cantaloupe. So label says Hbc 586 is more guava and I can go there, but I drink the Filipino guava juice cans regularly and I’m telling you this is cantaloupe. Alcohol is all but disguised. I love how they’re going for that US gas station tall “get you in trouble at the end of the night” can but it’s one of the best IPAs they’ve made and better than whatever Voodoo Ranger variant you bought at the Shell station last night.

Pink and hazy. Tart, randomly fruity. I guess berry dominates and the other stuff is just sour. It exists.

Poured from the tap @ FH Abbotsford. Clear-ish dull yellow gold with small white head. Oak, mild brett, light citrus underlay. Okay.

Poured from the tap @ FH Abbotsford. Hazy bright yellow with small white head. Not a ton of depth, but it hits all the flavours. Blood orange and white wine with a hint of tangerine, very feint hopping in the background. Decent.

Poured from the tap @ FH Abbotsford. Dark brown with small beige head. Dry Irish stout body with light roast, some oak, and a feint cheap rum character. Average.

473ml can. Pours a clear gold with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Mild aroma of grainy wheat malt, green grape, lime peel and grassy hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, grapefruit, green grape, passionfruit and light piney hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and crushable.

Opaque. Pale. Not much head. The nose has tangerine, and a bit of mango. But it’s kind of clunky, like simple and light. I’ve had a few of this type of beer from FH and this is not one of the better ones. Not sure why Vancouver would get blamed for Abbotsford's crimes, though.

Pale, almost greyish, with a thick head. Lean pale malt, lots of coconut, light melon. Gentle fruit-forward hops, the hazier aspects of this beer are muted enough to let the hops work.
