Pineapple Papaya Habanero Sour from Field House Brewing

Dull and quite pale tan, with no head. Light habanero heat and fruitiness, lots of papaya for balance. Base is clunky and yeasty but at least the flavour elements are spot on here.

Dull hazy. Not much head. Aroma blends passionfruit and oniony hops, a fair amount of bitterness, probably a touch too much.

Key Lime Creamsicle Sour from Field House Brewing

Dull hazy, thin head, had that vanilla lactose thing versus kettle sour, key lime being sort of a background thing that'�s happening. That'�s to the detriment of the overall production. It'�s not bad but opportunities for improvement are quite evident.

Dullish pale, thin head. Thin doughy malt that'�s a bit toasty, herbal hops, moderate bitterness. All the things, muted and empty.

Bottle from the brewery. Murky opaque purplish colour. So much tangerine and blueberry in the aroma. A bit of citrus sweetness. On the palate, has an even kettle sour tartness. Clean blueberry. Again bright citrus and a light vanilla, so everything comes at you, but you're asked to relax and figure it out.

Strawberry Belma Sour from Field House Brewing

Amber with a reddish tinge. Just a thin head. Has a fair bit of tartness. Solid strawberry character, and balanced tartness, and strawberry fruitiness on that. I swear this needs basil, but otherwise it's worth it.

Hazy, dullish pale. Not much head. Super peachy and guava nose, rosehips, grapefruit. Medium body, medium bitterness. Kind of a guava accent in there, and again more citrus. Big fruity character to this.

473mL can, pours a cloudy dull golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of lacto, subdued orange, a hint of strawberry, and very light bugginess. Flavour is yogurty and fruity, with gentle orange, a touch of strawberry, and dry wheatiness. Fruity, fairly dry, wheaty and juicy finish. Surprisingly good.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a cloudy peachy golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of yogurt, mango, tangerine and lactose. Flavour is a lacto/yogurt bomb, with subdued tropical fruits and lactose. Cheap nonsense kettle sour here. Very low-quality and cheap bullshit. Sad Vancouver beer.

Quite pale yellow, opaque. Slightly spicy, calamansi sort of citrus, medium pale malt, bright I7 and not harsh.
