Bottle at BBT dec/2021. Med-full body, medium carbonation. Lots of chocolate and roasted coffeeish malt character. Also assertive dried fruits, raisins, sour cherries. Med-high bitterness, combination roasted and hops. Hops character in the background. Med-high sweetness too. Initially it is rather sweet, then it switches to bitter roasty finish. Overall rewarding, tasty, pretty good.

Bottle at BBT December 2021.Dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma of dark malt, wood, coconut, whiskey. Taste, dark malt, coffee, light coffee, nutty, caramel, coconut from barrel, alcohol.

Bottle from Base Camp. Almost clear pale golden body, nice thick head, white, with medium retention. Grapefruit and lightly sweaty fruitiness, some maltiness in the aroma. Lean taste, dry, bitterish, grapefruit notes mixing with herbal bitterness from the hoppiness. Yeah, kinda does have this fresh hop thing going on, but it's almost a one-trick pony with the grapefruit note, lightly earthy maybe. Wonder which hop was the dominant one. Still, an interesting thing to try.

Green waxed bottle. Fajowa ta buteleczka, kolejne swietne piwo z dzikiego wschodu. Nawet i dziko w posmaku tu jest, przyprawowo i rozgrzewajaco. Nie ma tu przesady z mulaca slodowoscia jak to przy niektorych Pastry stoutach, zadnych kremow czy masci do smarowania:) Jest gryczano-kawowo, zywicznie, spadziowo, oleiscie i na koniec gorzko-czekoladowo.

Clear golden, very thin, off-white head. Aroma of green apple, plum, kiwi, passion fruit, pear. Taste has sour apple, kiwi & lemon, wheaty, bit lactic. Tart, lemony, yet also end-of-stonefruit finish for a bit more depth. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Good yet nothing too special.

Lett sløret gylden med hvitt skum som legger seg som ett slør. Aroma malt humle grønt eple. Smak malt karamell humle eple sitrus. Fyldig, god maltsødme, lett bitter. God pils.
