Description
The brewery: Nestled in the Swiss Alps, not far from Geneva and Mont Blanc, and just a stone's throw from the French and Italian borders, White Frontier is a brewery created by free-spirits for free-spirits. Not afraid of pushing the boundaries, the team likes to live life on the edge, taking their inspiration from the great outdoors. And if they're not brewing, then they can most likely be found snowboarding, skiing, or simply hanging out, preferably with a great cup of coffee.

14th September 2020, Shrewsbury Beer Share gathering with Syrian Supper in Chez Sophie, five in attendance. Cheers Paul for the 330ml bottle of this. Clear amber body, wispy white head. Boozy and lovely, Bourbon esters and flavours come through nicely without ruining the base beer (which sometimes happens in my opinion).

330ml bottle @ Syrian Supper tasting, Chez Sophie Sep 20. Dark hazy brown appearance, minimal head. Aroma provides a nice bourbon introduction, good fruity nuances to taste with lovely bourbon on the finish blossoming into a comforting bourbon vanilla linger. Very nice.

opalescent golden colour, medium sized dense off-white head; aroma of intensive pineapple, slight piney and celery, as well as alcoholic notes; taate has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with biscuity notes; great IIPA!

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with slightly late awakening, small, creamy, fading, minimally lacing, tan head. Dictatorial hazelnut aroma, hints of nougat, a vanilla touch, widely suppressed, inferior, chocolately, dark malty background. Taste is quite weird, notes of artificial hazelnut aroma, some vanilla, burnt hazelnut. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, tacky palate, fine and soft carbonation. The hazelnut aroma works very well in the nose but doesn't know where to place its power in taste - pretty much an overdose; maybe the decimal place slipped one position to the right.

Bottle, Apothibieres. Medium hazy yellow, smaller white head, foamy and nonlasting. Very fine tropical fruity nose, sweet tones, passionfruit, pineapple. Modeate bitterness, slightly grassy, a bit citrusy. Lasting aftertaste. Solid session IPA.
