On tap @ Grain, Zurich. Hazy yellow body like orange juice with just a thin, white foamy film on top. Strong juicy aroma of mango, grapefruit and lemon. Flavor is mostly juicy like aroma with a hint of oranges in addition. Very fruity indeed and more sour than sweet as I prefer. Medium body and fruity, juicy aftertaste. One dimesional, but not bad at all, very refreshing.

Sample at Solothurner Biertage, may 2019. Hazy yellow/pale golden body with a fluffy white head. Light and refreshing aroma of pale malt, wheat, spicy yeast, pepper, oranges and lemon. Flavor is light and refreshing with much of the same flavors as found in the aroma, spicy, citric fruity and peppery with hint of lemon. Medium to light bodied and refreshing aftertaste. Nice thirst quencher.

On tap @ Grain, Zurich. Pale golden body with a white head. Aroma is citric fruity, grapefruit and pale malt, very refreshing. Flavor is medium sweet pale malt, fruity like aroma and slightly grassy bitterness with grapefruit. Medium body and refreshing aftertaste. Nice and tasty IPA somewhere in between classic and modern.

Bottle @ Eldorado, Zurich. Clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma is light pale malt with citric hops. Flavor is medium sweet, pale malt, citric fruit and moderate bitterness. Pretty straight forward standard APA.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso mirtillo e pesca. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una scarsa tenuta. Le bollicine sono grandi. Il liquido offre una visione offuscata. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. Il colore è rossiccio. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è contenuto con una punta moderatamente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma trova impressioni di mirtillo e pesca gialla.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dal fruttato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. La carbonazione è frizzante e persistente. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è medio e acquoso. L'amaro è nella media . La forza gustativa è normale e la durata è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al palato arrivano note di caramello, miele, cereali, agrumi e ananas.

On tap. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di caramello. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di apparenza limpida. Il colore è ambrato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sulla lingua si attestano sentori di caramello, miele, amaretto, pane tostato, agrumi, fico, frutta disidratata, frutta passita e alcol presente non invadente.

La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di apparenza velata. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, crosta di panettone, frutta secca, agrumi, arancia rossa, spezie e alcol presente non invadente.

Bottle from De Bierliefhebber. Aroma is fruity hops with strong citrus, juicy orange, tangerine, some tropical fruits, and a sturdy grain malt backbone, I mostly get rye and oats. Flavour is light sweet and above medium bitter, body is medium. Nice meeting of citrus fruit and grain with a good bitterness.
