Description
The brewery: Nestled in the Swiss Alps, not far from Geneva and Mont Blanc, and just a stone's throw from the French and Italian borders, White Frontier is a brewery created by free-spirits for free-spirits. Not afraid of pushing the boundaries, the team likes to live life on the edge, taking their inspiration from the great outdoors. And if they're not brewing, then they can most likely be found snowboarding, skiing, or simply hanging out, preferably with a great cup of coffee.

Tap at Alehouse. Hazy pale yellow color with tiny white head. Aroma is spicy yeasts, banana, cloves. Taste is mineralic, bananas, dough, cloves, surprisingly full-bodied. Medium carbonation, kinda fizzy. More of a Wit than a Hefeweizen tbh...

Bottle from Beers'n'more. Pours almost clear red with pieces in it. Aroma is pure raspberry syrup, but not Pingu syrup if that makes sense to you (it probably doesn't, but it does to me!) Body is medium, quite sour, with a punch of raspberry and tartness on a fizzy carbonation. Sourness wins though, and it doesn't leave much more than a subtle raspberry trace leading to an astringent palate. Enjoyable, but not a harmonic experience.

Tap at the Alehouse. Pours pitch black. Aroma is fresh warm smoke, strong roasted malts, bockish spiciness. Body is heavy and strong and sweet, still a lot of smoke, yet less than a Bamberg Rauchbier would have. Liquorice, little tar too. Sticky, with a lively carbonation. Sweet lingering warming palate. Bitterness is always present, but never taking the spotlight. Nothing is, actually. Well rounded, yet a tad too sweet for my taste.

Tap at the Alehouse. Pours clear golden with a decent head. Aroma is mango, a hint of dishwasher while the foam is there, pineapple. Body is medium and pretty sweet, lively carbonation on a decent malt backbone. Little hop burn, otherwise sweet palate. Well balanced and beautifully fruity. Well done.
