Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, ginger. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, ginger spicy and fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Gravity cask at the Pembury Tavern on 16th July during their festival. Brown bitter, poured crystal clear with a short-lived effervescent off-white head of little or no lacing. Sweetish malt aromas slightly override the hoppy notes which are citric in nature with lemony undertones. Watery texture, dryish finish best appreciated with long pauses between substantial sips.

Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Hazy pale yellow. Light hay aroma. Medium sweet and light bodied. Somewhat papery and mushy at first feels crisper and tighter towards the salty, grassy finish. An easy going beer.
