Keg at IMBC '19, session 2, 04/10/19. Light black with a well presented tan covering. Nose is mellow roast, cocoa powder, red berry notes, charr. Taste comprises roasted bite, light pine, charr, ashen notes, dried red berry fruits, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. A competent CDA.

Keg at Ol, Manchester, 04/10/19. Deep black with a decent tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, hint of berry fruits, brown sugars, toffee, light spice. Taste comprises sweet malts, chocolate, toffee, molasses, trace of coconut shavings, candied sugars, hint of liquorice. Full bodied, oily feel, light warming alcohol in the close. Decent well balanced impy.

Tap the brewery. A oily jet black coloured pour with a a fine dark tan head. Aroma is oily coconut, sun tan lotion, bounty. Dark choc. Flavour is composed of oily dark malts, spicy woody finish, woody meaty, smooth, oily. Palate is semi sweet, rounded smooth oil, bitter spicy finish, moderate carbonation. Bit of kitchen sink beer, homebrew.

Keg at the indy man beer con. 2019. A nut brown coloured pour with a beige frothy head. Aroma is meaty dark malts, earth, vanilla, dank, plastic. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, dry, toasted brown bread, singed pine, plastic. Light Ash. Palate is dry and earthy, highish carbonation. Ok.
