Bottle on 712 to the Ness, thanks to Simon 47574, 25/02/23. Deep mahogany brown with a decent khaki head. Nose is dark malts, charr, chocolate sprinkle, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises earthy roast, toffee, cocoa sprinkle, dried fruit rinds, herbal. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Okay-ish old skool leaning impy.

Deep brown with a red chink. Foamy off white head. Dried fruit possibly prune. Salty and woody. Still oxidised and floorboards. Another one where that unwelcome wild yeast is overcome by the intended yeast.

Bottle from the brewery crowdfunder. 67 of 132. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of light sour chocolate, faint coffee, red grape, wood. Taste is light acetic, chocolate, wood and wine, balsamic. Dry finish.

Bottle at James's. Pours deep reddish brown, nose is chocolate, brett funk, liquorice, oak, taste is liquorice, chocolate, chewy, dark fruits, roasted.
