Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel and Erzengel for that one! Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Roasty malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, more and more dry, roasty, light smokey touch. Also some light stouty notes. Finish well balanced, woody-malty, light metallical. Not bad.

0,33 l bottle. Unclear pale golden in the glass with a more than two finger white foamy head. Caramel smell, little bit alcoholic. Taste starts with grain and caramel, alcoholic sweetness. Hints of pulled pork (!) without bbq sauce. Typical Heller Bock. And not my favourite style ...

0,5 l bottle. Unclear golden in the glass, two finger foamy white head. Grassy grainy smell with hints of citrus. Taste starts with a grainy mid bitterness, malty background. Increasing caramel with low citrus. Some straw bitterness in the aftertaste. Really not bad for a Helles.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of dark chocolate and pumpernickel, a cautious touch of treacle. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, hints of dark chocolate, a touch of coffee, pumpernickel, minimally metallic overtones, a very cautious fruity hoppy touch of blueberry. Watery texture, minimally repellent, metallic, ice cube-like palate. OK.

Many thanks to WillemsUrenkel for this 75cl bottle. Smooth mild beginning. Easy to drink, slightly grainy with a moderate bitter roasted back. Easy tod rink, roasted soft, moderate roasted bitter in the end with bitter-sweetish parts. Nice dry roasted ending, refreshing-deep. --- Beer merged from original tick of Milkstout on 16 Mar 2020 at 23:06 - Score: 7. Original review text: Thanks Holger. Smooth mild roasted beginning. Easy to drink, soft, espresso with soft caramel. Hints of sourness, fresh, nice.

Many thanks to WillemsUrenkel for this 75cl bottle. Grainy smooth but a bit neutral beginning. Hints of grain, dry, malty with hints of roast. Interesting Dunkel, not too deep, hints of hazelnuts. Nice.
