Can from Beerwulf. Aroma is toasted malt with notes of dark bread and caramel. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and lightly bitter. Body is medium. A bit boring but not bad really, very toasty.

Bottle from Beyond Beer, Hamburg. Aroma is grainy, watery body, hint of wort. Light sweet. Fairly typical for the low/non alc style, not that wheaty. Meh.

Pours a dark brown with beige head, decent lacing. Aroma of dark malts, coffee, chocolate biscuit, hint of the cherry. Taste is quite malty to begin, then coffee, dark chocolate, quite tangy in the middle but no real cherry notes, bitter slight sticky finish. Quite drying, slick near mid-bodied, lively frothy carbonation to start but becomes somewhat flat once aired. Mixed but fairly tasty.

Can from Beer52. Hazy reddish-brown with small off white head. Roast, chocolate, toast and cola aroma. Quite sweet in taste with grains, roast and grapefruit most dominant. Some chocolate and a grassy prickly finish. Medium bodied, crisp finish. Pretty good.

Can from Waitrose. Clear amber with off white top. Grapefruit, pine, some zest on the nose, nice if standard. Taste is more on malty side with toasted grain and caramel as well as citric and grapefruit, some pine. Moderate bitterness. Nothing wrong with an older style IPA although this lacks a greater bitter punch. Still decent.

Can from Beer52. Cloudy pale gold with small white head. Light citrus and floral aroma, maybe a touch of apple and mango. Taste is quite fruity, apple, grapefruit, mango, floral light bitterness. Its clean, subtle but fruity, light and refreshing. Ticks the style boxes even if it lacks a bit of excitement. Quite good.
