Can shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet oily, wheat grains, milky mellow dank, tangerine, orange rind. Milky. Palate is semi sweet, oily, rough round the edges, ok.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co The Bear, Paddington, London, 8 May 2024) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with vanilla, toffee, caramel, chocolate and cinnamon. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, cacao, cinnamon, vanilla, toffee and a balanced cacao bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Chocolatey, caramelly and tasty. Not quite as sweet as feared. Nice one.

ABV: 4.4%. Light hazy to clear loooking, with a medium amber colour, a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, sugary, nutty notes, light vanilla - maple touch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, toffee, caramelized malt, nutty, vanilla - maple touch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Keg @ Bailey Head, Oswestry. Pours a hazed gold, white head. Aroma seems quite citrussy, some grapefruit. Flavour profile continues along these lines, nicely fruity with a good crisp bite. Decent.

Keg draught at the Wobbly Duck, Newcastle. Amber/brown, clear with a thin beige/khaki head. Vinous aroma with notes of black pepper, weeds, woody character. Tart taste with oak and red wine, long dry finish. Light body, heavy carbonation. Loved this beer.

Handpull cask at the Wobbly Duck, Newcastle. Reddish mid-brown and clear with a small layer of beige head. Herbal aroma, malty notes with dried grass and a little bit of plum. Sweet taste with a touch of herbal sourness. Slight body, soft carbonation. It's okay.
