Canned, 440 ml, courtesy of kajser27. Shared with him, Miro B and Max. Dark brown with beige head. Chocolate, nuts, caramel, quite sweet and smooth. Medium+ bodied. Bit artificial.

440ml can. Pours murky dull orange with a large head. Aroma is sweet and sour rhubarb with a little redcurrant underneath. Taste has rhubarb throughout with a little yoghurt on the finish. A little watery in places.

440ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is sweet milk chocolate, blackcurrant hop and biscuit. Taste has milk chocolate, biscuit and caramel throughout with blackcurrant hop on the finish. A bit boozy in parts.

Five guys on a mission, Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie: 9th Aug 2021. I brought along this interesting looking can, 440ml in size; BB Nov 2021. Black bodied, tan head that gave off decent lacing. Malty nose on a bed of dark berries, taste follows along the same lines, semi-sweet malts and semi-bitter berries making up the flavours.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Aug 21. Thanks Jeremy for this one. Pours dark with a beige head of foam. Great roasty nose underlined by a dark berry sweetness. Taste follows on nicely, with nicely integrated hop notes adding further flavour layers. A lovely flavoursome hoppy porter overall.

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Orange/tan and not just hazy, but thick. Small off-white head. Light aroma with grapefruit, apples, some biscuit notes from the malt. Taste is nicely balanced, there is a malty sweetness which is countered with a dogged bittering hop to the finish. A bit confused and messy, but enjoyable all the same.
