Description
BrewDog Tower Hill is located in the neo-Gothic Minster Building at the corner of Great Tower Street and Mark Lane (EC3R 5AR for postcode fans). Moments from the Tower of London and equidistant between the iconic bridge there and London Bridge, a short distance upriver. The nearest tube station is just three minutes's walk away.

In case you need to take the party somewhere else there are three huge deli fridges with beer to go and rocks a growler filling station for beer on draft.

Keg at Brewdog Tower Hill. An opaque black dark purple coloured pour with a fading loose beige head. Aroma is artifical fruit culee, berries, cherry fruitella, blueberry syrup, faint beer note. Flavour is composed of tangy mixed berries, forest fruit flavouring, cherry, blackberry, blueberry vibes, faint toasted malts to balance. Palate is semi sweet light tangy, highish carbonation. Fun, bit fake.

Keg at BD Tower Hill. Sweet fruit and cinnamon aroma. Ruby tinged brown. Creamy off-white head is thin on top. Initial fruity vinous bitterness before a somewhat sickly fruity sweetness come through. Some underlying sourness. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Long low key astringent finish. It's nice enough but cloying. No more than a third, thanks.

Keg at Fierce. It pours cloudy orange with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, tangy, passion fruit, juicy, jammy, mango, orange, papaya and sponge cake. The taste is sweet - sour, tart, tangy, juicy, mango, papaya, sherbet, puckering, orange, tangerine, fanta, sherbet and puckering with a dry, fruity finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Feels. Like a sour ipa. Fun.

Keg at BD Tower Hill, 30/10/19. Deep cherry red almost akin to vampire fake blood purple, topped with a light faded crimson covering. Nose is cherry stones, Black Forest Gateaux, light sugars, mixed berry compote. Taste comprises cherry glaze, hint of chocolate, residual sugars, stoned red berry fruits, boysenberry. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a sweet lining. Not bad for a fruit beer ... not sure I could categorise it anywhere else as the fruit is predominantly sweet, not sour.
