Poured into an one-third pint glass from cask at Minerva. Tan-coloured lacing head over a very dark apricot coloured body. Sweet malt-fruity aroma. Taste of dark dough, caramel and dried fruit, bit jam-like. Soft in the mouth. Okay version of the style (Hull 25.11.2015).

Manchester Beer Festival 2015. Extremely dark with a small head. Has dry lingering coffee notes which are very stated in the ales aroma alongside some healthy tasting roasted malts.
