Cask-conditioned at the Gryphon, Bristol 18/1/2019. Golden, with a lacy, white, head. SOme citrus hops, lactose, light matls and a touch of cherry sweetness, before a moderately bitter finish. A solid novelty.

Cask at The Otter's Pocket, Preston. Pours clear golden brown, very pale for a porter! Aromas of mixed spice and mixed peel. Taste is sweet candied peel, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sweet finish.

[ As Cross Bay Halo ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, sweet malt, apple notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt.
