Sample (thanks fonefan!). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mango, some tea leafs and mild herbal tones to it. Flavour is yuzu, tea and some herbal and grassy notes to it. Somewhat dry too. Different, but nice.

Very unexpectedly this one has some smokey notes in the aroma, similar to one of the milder schlenkerla, ham and all. also flowery and malty and sweet malty and lightly toasted malty notes as might be found in a vienna. Flavor is toasted malts, smoked malts, ham or salt, a mild rounding bitterness that is really low, but makes the malts show off. the slightly smoked character will probably divide ratings a lot, I think I like it.

really nice flowery and piney hoppy aroma with a good rounded malty body. Flavor is malty, bitter hoppy (tilted a bit towards grassy and herbal) ends quite herbal bitter.

mild flowery slightly citrussy aroma with faint herbal notes. flavor is weird herbal bitter, tea, citrussy flowery note. i don't like the herbal bitterness in this lager, would prefer ordinary hops. probably a matter of personal taste.

Tap at skaal Bamberg like smoked malts, salt, bacon, salt dried Meat, not sure i have had this aroma with non bamberg beers, its actually really good. A la schlenkerla rauchbier Flavor is hard roasted malts and the pig flavor is much less prominent. Quite smoked malty too, with salt notes as well as charred wood , basically, the barn is on fire.
