Description
Established in 2017 in the most Eastern point of mainland Scotland, we brew our beers in small batches in the nautical town of Peterhead. At Brew Toon we are passionate about creating bold, adventurous craft beers, packed full of flavour and character. We strive to use local ingredients where ever possible and pride ourselves on this provenance.
Brew Toon was born out of a passion for brewing and craftsmanship in general.
Our brewery is based on a historic site in Peterhead, which was once home to "Hunter & Sons - Tanfield Brewery". This heritage is hugely important to us and massively influential in how we run our brewery today.

Can from Green's of Ellon. It pours cloudy bright mango orange with a dissipating white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, juicy, tangy, mango juice, passion fruit, peach, orange sherbet, fruit punch, solera and candy. The taste is crisp, dry, sharp, tangy, sour, zingy, orange sherbet, mango juice, peach, passionfruit, five alive fruit juice, light acidity, sour, puckering and sour candy with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine prickly carbonation. Bright, zingy and tropical. Drinks very well. Tasty.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours a rather pretty hazy purple with a medium fluffy pink - white head. The aroma is fresh, zingy, tangy lemon sherbet, jammy blackberry, lemon parfait, touch of vanilla and some warming spice. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, crunchy, juicy, rich berry character, tangy brambles and hedgerow fruits, jammy, zingy lemon, sherbet, muted vanilla yoghurt, light spice, fruit cordial, touch of acidity and a touch of toasted oats with a dry, tangy fruit finish. Medium body and moderate, fizzy carbonation. Was worried that this would have been a touch sweet given the name, but instead it is bright and zingy. Nice one.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy orange with a creamy white head. Nose - orange, mango and orange zest. Taste - orange zest, fresh orange and all the way to marmalade. Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture, light sweet finish. Overall - we're getting into barley wine territory here, given the booze. It looks like I enjoyed it more than the other reviewers though.

Bottle from Appellation Wines, consumed after the ballet. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of blueberry and chocolate cake, not surprisingly. Taste is sweet, coconut, chocolate. Boozy finish.
