18/10/2018. Cask at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours almost black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of chocolate, hops, moderate roasted malt. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

17/10/2018. Cask at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, hops and malt. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask at the Hampshire Ockoberfest, Basingstoke. A golden amber pour with a loose cream head; malty aroma; toasty taste, with a light bitterness. A simple old-fashioned bitter - and there's nothing wrong with that.

Cask at Hants Oktoberfest. Rich ark chocolate aroma. Black. Bubbly bit not overly impressive beige head. Light bitter. Some sour cream. But very low key. Medium bodied. Thin cream. Flat carbonation. Abrupt astringent finish. Overly polite stout. Goes down well but forgotten in seconds.

Cask (Southampton Beer Festival 2018) - Dark brown in colour. Notes of coffee and chocolate in the aroma, whilst the taste features notes of raisins and coffee.

29/3/2018. Cask at the 29th Egham Beer Festival, held at the EUSC. Poured hazy amber with a lasting bubbly white head. Aroma of fruit, veg, malt and herb. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Looked the part, but this one didn't work for me.
